Niteshade informs that JoyOfTech also mentions the 5th anniversary of the Newton cancellation. There's even a survey, but he would include a couple of options:

"I still HAVE my Newton, and there's no way anyone's going to pry it
out of my cold, dead, hands!"
or
"But they didn't kill the Newton, it's still works just fine."
