Extras - Description: Tap on Extras and get the Error. At this point no program on the Newton can be started or installed. Fix: Keep the IndexFixer patch installed on a memory card (or a friend's card via their Newton!). It starts automatically from there if the error accurs. Without IndexFixer you have to erase the whole internal memory to get rid of the error. Why: ? Certainty: ?

-48200 - Expected a frame, array, or binary object

AlarmPak.pkg (v 2.01) - Description: Always when loading. Fix: Freeze/delete it (identified with bugtrap). Why: ?Supporting files are absent? Certainty: 100%

-48408 - Expected a binary object

Avis Backdrop (v1.31) - Description: Always when opening Prefs is attempted. Fix: Delete the Avis slot in system soup using Trashpak (identified with bugtrap) Why: A picture gets stored in an incorrect format/size (e.g. If a large works sketch is cut/pasted into prefs). Certainty: 100%
