Book Content
What it would do
Many Newton Books are created as a standard size suitable for MP120/130 machines,
as well as the MP2x00s. This means that they do not fill the MP2x00 screen, and
there is considerable unused space. However, when table of contents is shown,
the box overlaps with the book window. Only one of the two is fully visible at
any one time. It would be nice to fit both the book and the table of contents
on the screen at once, without the need to switch between them to see what is
underneath. This way you can select table of contents items and see the associated
book contents at the same time. No longer will the book contents be obscured while
tapping through the contents.
How to do it
Two possibilities are suggested. An extension would either -
1. Change the height (portrait) or width
(landscape) of the contents box, where possible, based on the size of the Newton
book, so that it would fit next to the book window
or
2. Make the table of contents window resizable
(horizontally and vertically) (and remember the settings)
